Did you know the first font on the moon was Futura? It was used on a commemorative plaque left by the astronauts of Apollo 11 in 1969. Check out a whole original set of posts on idsgn called Know Your Type.

Although we have pumped this document full of boring studio policies, this is a fun piece.. mostly because we love using this photo for the first page. The white is a textured cover with our icon printed on it very subtly.
